BPA (bisphenol-A) is a chemical that is often found in certain food and drink containers such as plastic bottles and the inner lining of aluminium cans and bottles. It can dissolve into the food and drink held inside these containers that will causing health problems after consumed.

All our CESTO containers are BPA-free.

Grade 18/8 steel is made of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. The chromium binds oxygen to the surface of the product to protect the iron from oxidation (rust); while nickel enhances the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. 18/8 stainless steel is considered as “food-grade” stainless steel because chemicals cannot pass onto food in any way.

18/8 stainless steel is food-safe grade which is the most popular type of stainless steel used in restaurants and commercial kitchens. The “grade” of stainless steel refers to its quality, durability and resistance to temperature.

The most obvious difference between double wall and single wall bottle is for how long they can hold the drink at their temperatures.

Our double wall vacuum-insulated container can keep hot drink warm about 4-12 hours and keep cold drinks cold about 10-24 hours which is subject to types and container design structures. Single wall bottle on the other hand do not serve the purpose.

If your vacuum container is not proper functioning, there is possibility that the heat transfer to the outside and may suspect that the vacuum was compromised and the gap is filled with air rather than maintaining a vacuum.  A small crack or defect on the vacuum container may cause the vacuum to fail.

Yes, stainless steel is absolutely safe for coffee. According to the data, it does not contain such harmful substances as BPA, zinc, lead, phthalates and other toxic materials that may cause various diseases and impact to our health.

Not recommended.

Avoid store fizzy or carbonated beverages as the pressure can damage the seal or cause spills.

No.

With double wall vacuum insulated, outside of the bottle would not get cold enough and condensed; you are worry free from bottle sweat that may cause your desk or contents of your bag wet. No more sweaty palms while holding icy cold beverage!

Single wall bottles are not insulated and will therefore “sweat” when filled with very cold fluids. When air comes in contact with a cold non-insulated bottle it begins to cool down. If it cools, water vapor in the air is condensed and turns to liquid that beads up on the outside of the bottle

Not recommended.

The high heat in a dishwasher may damage vacuum seals in container. A damaged vacuum seal causes the vacuum container to lose its insulating function. We recommend hand washing to prolong usage life. Be sure to wash your product before first use.

We recommend cleaning your bottle and lid once per day especially if you drink something other than water to keep them mold and germ free.

Other than plain water, all kind of beverage should not be left in the container for longer than 12 hours.

DO NOT use strong detergent.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers since they may dull the finish.

DO NOT use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine on any parts of the product.

For maximum efficiency, you can preheat or precool your vacuum insulated container with hot or cool water before filling with your desired beverage.

4 steps:

  1. Fill the container with hot/cold water.
  2. Insert stopper and attach lid, let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Empty bottle and immediately fill with your favourite hot or cold beverage; and
  4. Secure the stopper and lid as quickly as possible to avoid heat or cold loss.
  1. Do not use in microwave or freezer.
  2. Do not use on stove for cooking.
  3. Allow hot liquids to cool to a drinkable temperature prior to sealing lid.
  4. Do not overfill product.
  5. Hot liquids can scald you. Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot liquids.
  6. Avoid to place in dishwasher.
  7. Do not clean with harsh chemicals.

No. Liquids will expand on freezing, which will then cause deformations to the container. This will void your warranty.

Yes. CESTO bottles are made from stainless steel which is fully recyclable.
